Our Spider Excavators (also known as a Walking Excavators) allows the completion of difficult tasks in the most inaccessible locations.
These machines have the unique ability to pick their way through delicate and difficult terrain on slopes of up to 45 degrees without a winch (up to 60 degrees with a winch). Cross rivers or canals with minimum environmental impact. They can work safely where no conventional digger can operate and with far less harm to any ecosystem.
The power of these machines per size and weight is far greater than their standard counterparts while the flexible undercarriage enables them to access narrow and challenging locations.
To effectively accomplish our tasks, we have a wide range of attachments for our Spider Excavators including Drill masts, rock breakers, tree shears, post knockers, flail mowers, winches and a wide range of digger buckets. We are always prepared to source relevant attachments if required along with adapting bespoke equipment for a particular task.
We offer and consultation where we can provide safety and planning for your project. We also complete a full risk assessment and method statements to ensure conformity.
Our machines are able to complete the following tasks:
De-vegetating and clearing of steep banks
Land slip and bank stabilisation
Installing bank drainage
